The AnythingMD API turns documents into Markdown that is ready for LLMs, search indexes and knowledge bases. It uses the same conversion engine, credits and prices as anythingmd.com.

How it works

Conversions are asynchronous:
  1. Start a job with a document URL or an uploaded file.
  2. Poll the job until it finishes. Each poll also moves the job forward.
  3. Download the outputs: Markdown, and optionally the extracted images.
